I am often struck by the frequency with which people complain about things that they permit while making no effort to change them. You see, I am a firm believer in planning. If you don’t have a plan, you are unlikely to achieve your goals in the most effective way possible.
As a CEO, I understand that it takes more than a proclamation to create a corporate culture. It takes a plan, and that plan requires ownership and buy-in from the people who construct the culture. That is why, at TechSoft Systems, I created four teams that represent different aspects of the vision of the company.
1. Best Place to Work
2. Best Service Provider
3. Best Service Delivery
4. Wowing the Customer
If all of these teams function as intended, TechSoft Systems will deliver the ultimate customer experience. Number 1 is not in there just for good morale. It is just as important to customer service as Numbers 2 through 4. Why? Because satisfied employees are good at what they do; they are cheerful in what they do; they are motivated in what they do; and they aspire to excel in all they do. If our employees are happy, I can be confident that our customers are happy.
What are you being deliberate about in your own life (or business or family…)? Could you be doing more to ensure you achieve your goals? (Remember: success is not an accident.)
